About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team at our El Paso location. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting our operations with reliable financial data. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well independently, and is committed to keeping our books running smoothly. This position will be full-time Monday-Friday.
What You Will Do
• Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger management and data entry
• Process and manage payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform account reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and maintain financial reports to support store operations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
• Coordinate with store management and corporate teams on financial matters
Skills / Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with ADP is preferred
• Solid understanding of payroll processing, account reconciliations, and general ledger management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Full-time availability required
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug test and background check
